Australian TikToker Auspill has been arrested while filming a migrant protest in Melbourne organised and supported by left-wing extremist groups.
The protesters regularly demonstrate in front of government offices in the Victorian capital, and the content creator has posted several clips on social media showing immigrants on temporary visas, mainly of Indian subcontinental and Middle Eastern appearance, demanding to be able to stay in Australia forever.
Auspill returned to the city on Monday to document the protest again, but was told to move on by Victoria Police and suddenly arrested.
Short clip of my arrest at the refugee rally in Melbourne just now. Not sure how legal it was as I was complying with the officer’s directions, my questions were genuine and I was leaving. I will post the full clip tonight. pic.twitter.com/mDIi0LypwH

“Short clip of my arrest at the refugee rally in Melbourne just now. Not sure how legal it was as I was complying with the officer’s directions, my questions were genuine and I was leaving,” he captioned the video.
In the clip a Victoria Police officer with a non-native Australian accent told the TikToker to “step off” and “move to this corner” but when Auspill asked for clarification he was threatened with arrest.
“I’ve already told you, do you want me to arrest you?” the officer said.
“I’m leaving, I’m just asking you a question, can we speak? I want to learn more about the order,” Auspill replied.
“Alright, so see you later,” the officer said and turned to leave, but when Auspill asked “can I stand here?” the policeman turned back around and “no no no no” and made an arrest.

Another clip posted by Auspill of Monday’s rally showed immigrants protesters chanting “free refugees, no borders, no nation, no deportation”.
He also shared photos showing far-left activists present at the rally, one wearing Victorian Socialists branded clothing, signs professionally printed by the Freedom Socialist Party and Radical Women, and left-wing extremist leaflets being handed out along with copies of Socialist Alliance newspaper Green Left.
A migrant protester was also photographed beating a drum with “Free Palestine” and anti-Fascist stickers, and one demonstrator held a sign saying “As a woman, my home was not safe, please bring peace back to my life”.
“The ‘socialist feminist organisation,’ Radical Women, leaves me conflicted. Some refugees are reportedly fleeing conditions that are ‘unsafe for women,’ yet many of the policies supported by socialist and communist groups – like open borders – are incredibly dangerous for women,” Auspill wrote in his caption.
According to their website, the Victorian Socialists want to “radically reorganise society” and aim to abolish capitalism and create a socialist republic with a classless society.
Auspill’s arrest comes after Queensland Police targeted and verbally abused nationalist activists marching in solidarity with British anti-immigration protesters in Brisbane on Sunday, violently arresting four men and charging one with “inciting others to incite vilification”.
