A Melbourne mother has made an appeal for help tracking down an Indian man who allegedly sexually assaulted her daughter at a McDonald’s restaurant.
The mum said her 15-year-old daughter was on her first shift at the McDonald’s in Pakenham on Wednesday March 12 when she was tricked into entering the toilets by an Indian woman and attacked by a man waiting inside.
In a post in a local community group she said the woman, aged in her 30s, told her daughter there was a young child who needed help inside the female toilets at around 6 or 7pm.
She described the man as Indian, aged in his 20s, 5’6, with short dark hair, and wearing a blue and white polo and jeans.
The woman was also Indian, 5’4, wearing a pink short-sleeved top with wavey dark hair down a little past her shoulders, according to the post.
On March 14 another local resident posted a warning to the community in a different group, saying he had been approached by police asking about Uber, DoorDash and Menulog drivers as part of an investigation into a sexual assault at the same Princes Highway McDonald’s.
It is unclear whether that investigation was related to the March 12 incident.
Victoria Police declined to comment when contacted by Noticer News, although the mother said police were aware and investigating.
McDonald’s did not respond to a request for comment.
