Trumpet of Patriots candidate calls for ban on male migrants from third world countries

A Trumpet of Patriots candidate from western Sydney is calling for a total ban on male immigrants from third world countries and cultures.

Joseph O’Connor, 31, a psychotherapist and former bouncer, is running in the seat of Lindsay, where he received 4% of the vote as a candidate for Trumpet of Patriots party chairman Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party in 2022.

Mr O’Connor told Noticer News he was concerned about Australia’s plummeting birth rate, mass immigration, the housing crisis, vaccine injuries, and women coming to Australia from third world countries only to be re-victimised by their male compatriots.

“There are many women who come to Australia looking to leave cultures and countries where misogynistic practices such as honour killings and arranged marriages are common,” he said.

“Yet they come to Australia only to find that men from their home countries have also immigrated here to Australia and these women as a result are subject to the same treatment they suffered back home.

“Unfortunately I’ve known women who have been victims of this and I do not believe that men from these countries and cultures should be allowed to immigrate to Australia.”

Mr O’Connor said he was not opposed to female immigrants from third world countries, saying it was the men who brought their problems with them.

“I’m sure you’re aware of the issues facing Europe the UK as well, I’ve never heard of terrorist attacks or mass rapes being committed by women from these countries, it appears to me that the men are the issue,” he said.

In a letter to voters, Mr O’Connor said if elected he would propose bills to parliament to ban all foreign home ownership, cap international student visas and allocate them evenly across all countries, and develop a Norway-style licensing fee on Australian mineral exports.

He said creating a sovereign wealth fund would enable Australia to lower the retirement age to 50 for women and 55 for me, include dental and mental health care in Medicare, greatly expand the military, pay off the national debt, and eliminate income taxes.

Lindsay is considered a safe Liberal Party seat and is held by a margin of 6.1%, and local MP Melissa McIntosh is the opposition spokeswoman for communications.
