Harry Triguboff can’t go more than a couple of months without demanding more immigration, and this week was on Mark Bouris’ podcast and in the SMH yet again calling for more Chinese migration to Australia:
“The councils don’t approve anything fast. I have a lot of money, I would love to build more, but I can’t get approval,” he told Bouris, the founder of Wizard Home Loans.
Councils approve 97 per cent of local development applications, but in Sydney, the speed with which they are approved differs dramatically: in the past financial year, Wollondilly Shire Council took an average of 58 days to respond to a development application (DA), while Georges River Council took 259 days.
“I always watched which council has good bureaucrats because if you have the wrong bureaucrats, they’ll sink you,” he said, singling out Ryde Council for previously being a “good council” that allowed him to develop the area for 35 years.
Oh no, only a 97% approval rate, the horror!
“Triguboff, born in China to Russian Jewish parents, also said that while he strongly supported a high immigration rate, he believed Australia needed “various types” of migrants from different countries.
“We need more immigration, because if we have no migrants, it’s very, very difficult [to build] … Life is so difficult in so much of the world that everybody would love to come here. Not to destroy us, they just want to come to live here. It’s a good place to live,” he said.
“Chinese are wonderful migrants but if we bring many of them, they will take over. Forget about fighting. No fighting, no fighting. Because they are all young. Many Australians are old, they will live longer.
“Now, I like east Europeans very much, because they know how to work. They’re well educated, they will be good. I think South Americans are good, too. But we can’t just depend on one lot. Of course Chinese are the best, they have money and they work and they study, and they’re young, but we can’t depend on one type.”
The greatest housing and rental crisis in the nation’s history with what’s left of social cohesion going out the door, and we’re going to invite more of a huge diaspora from a hostile foreign power to colonise us because “GDP line must go up”.
More political subversion, more money laundering in Australian real estate, more social problems, more cheating at universities, more Hungry Panda riders breaking the traffic laws and more Australian babies having hot coffee thrown over them.
Only Harry is allowed to make those kinds of comments about foreigners, the rest of us lose our bank accounts and get a visit from the constabulary. That aside, this is standard fare for arguably one of the worst people in Australian history.
Harry has basically been the de facto NSW Premier and Immigration Minister for the last 40 years. He was infamous for being in Bob Carr’s office regularly and now Sydney resembles an even cheaper and nastier version of the Kowloon Walled City.
Some classic quotes attributed to him over the years include:
- “If interest rates go up then I will simply bring in more migrants.”
- “I’d like to see 100 million, because I believe we will have many things to do here besides drilling holes and selling coal.”
- “The problem with Australians is they are very slow. They ask their lawyer, they ask their financial adviser, they ask their family, they ask everybody. The Chinese don’t ask anybody, they come off the plane, buy their unit and go.”
- “You go north and we have all these reserves and you go south and you have all the reserves, and they are the best part of the coast. That is crazy. We should be building on this area. If they want to see trees, they can go to Katoomba, there are plenty of trees there.”
You may wonder why at 91 years old that he refuses to retire, but the main rumour being that his two daughters have no interest in running the company and wish to sell it off once Harry finally carks it.
This “call” for more Chinese migrants is vintage Triguboff. He has pushed immigration and multiculturalism relentlessly for his own self-interest since forever, while residing in a six-bedroom mansion in Vaucluse as his high-rise dogboxes plague the Western Sydney foreign ghetto.
Triguboff also funded lobbying through his foundation for the infamous nation-state law Israel has where you must prove your Jewish heritage (including a DNA test).
This guy also had 5 meetings with Phil Lowe when was RBA Governor in an 18-month period after Phil’s diary was subject to a Freedom of Information request, which was more than anyone else at the time.
I would put Triguboff in the top 3 of the most destructive people in Australia’s history, the others being Mark Leibler and Frank Lowy.
Long story short, ignore this property parasite. The Chinese and their laundered money need to be kept out and the ones here sent home, as they’ve already done insane damage to the social fabric of this country and are currently encircling us militarily in the South Pacific.
Perhaps Harry can spend what’s left of his twilight years putting up Meriton shitboxes on the Gaza waterfront. Jared Kushner could probably help him pick a spot.
