An accused paedophile caught allegedly exposing himself in his car near children in southwest Sydney has been charged after a group of angry locals surrounded him and spray painted the vehicle.
The disturbing incident unfolded at about 10.30am on March 16 in Georges Hall, with CCTV video seen by Noticer News showing the man allegedly performing the vile act while in his white hatchback parked near a school when a dad walking with his three young daughters spotted him.
The visibly furious father ushered his children away and confronted the driver, who quickly reversed away before driving off.
Locals later then surrounded his car and spray painted it with “pedo dog” and “kid fiddler”, and the alleged incident was reported to police.
On Friday a 71-year-old man was arrested and taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with two offences – behave in an offensive manner, and wilful and obscene exposure.
He will appear at Bankstown Local Court on April 10.

NSW Police Bankstown Police Area Command then warned the community not to take the law into their own hands.
“This incident has been investigated by officers from Bankstown PAC and the male has been arrested and charged, the matter is now before the Courts. Any individuals or groups actions against this male will be reported, investigated and prosecuted,” the police said on Friday.
But the warning sparked more fury from residents, with many expressing their frustration over the situation.

“Shame on our government for persecuting the public who exposed him rather than castrate the [man] who’s exposing himself to children,” said one man.
“Hats off to the public members that exposed and punished him. Not all heroes wear capes.”
“Why can’t a taxpaying resident have access to a register to know if there are predators in my neighbourhood? Who are the police protecting, the residents or the [alleged] predator?” asked another.
“There is simply no point waiting for so-called authorities to do anything about it except give these sickos a slap on the wrist and send them on their merry way,” said a third.
