Hunt for woman, 21, who attacked toddler at Perth shopping centre

Western Australia Police have made an urgent appeal for assistance locating a woman who attacked a toddler in a Perth shopping centre.

Police said on Wednesday they believe Pamila-Raye Jetta, 21, may be able to assist with their investigation into the assault of a two-year-old girl at East Victoria Park shopping centre at 1.25pm on Tuesday.

CCTV footage of the shocking incident shows a bald woman approach a mother holding an infant before striking the child, leaving the little girl with facial injuries.

“Jetta is described as female, olive skin, 170cm tall, heavy build, shaved head and was last seen wearing green coloured shorts with white stripes, pink coloured singlet and blue trainers,” police from Cannington Detectives office said.

“Jetta has also recently been observed wearing a fluorescent pink wig.”
